We've got spirit, yes we do; we've got spirit, how 'bout you?
Gonzaga students definitely have spirit. Just take a brief walk around the campus, and you will see students in blue and red Zag sweatshirts, t-shirts, hats, and even pants. They carry Zag backpacks and lanyards, chew on Zagnut candy bars, and sip from their Zag water bottles. Journey through a parking lot, and you will see Zag license plates and holders, window stickers, and pennants.
Donning various bulldog-themed apparel is a great way to promote school spirit, to bond students together and to create a sense of community. It provides students with a sense of belonging and demonstrates their support of the school and its sports teams.Even through students' nervousness or their hurry, they are still willing to stop and talk about their school spirit and pride.
"I'm proud to be a Zag," Nick Porter, a junior majoring in psychology, said. "It's a pretty prestigious school, and it shows that I'm part of it."To purchase your own Zag gear, visit the Zagshop website.
